Copy the complete iframe markup into the HTML, embed, or code block supplied by your CMS. If a site builder strips iframe tags, ask its administrator which embed block is allowed.
Preview on a phone and desktop, check the controls and visible signals, and confirm the iframe fits the column. Test the page after theme, CMS, or privacy-policy changes.
The embed is a convenience widget for a club page, not an official Toastmasters record system. Keep the host page’s privacy notice and analytics choices visible, avoid putting member names or meeting links in the iframe URL, and test after CMS or theme changes.
Use a direct timer link when an iframe is not a good fit, or pair the widget with role guidance and timing cards for a meeting kit.
The iframe loads the SpeechTimer widget from speechtimer.xyz. It is isolated from the host page’s DOM, so it does not need to read your club website content to run the timer.
Yes. The selected preset is a starting point for the widget; visitors can switch presets inside the timer. Choose a preset that matches the page’s main use so the first view is useful.
Browsers commonly require a visitor interaction before a page can play audio. Ask members to interact with the timer and test the published page in the browsers your club uses.
The configurator lets you choose whether the optional attribution link is included. Keep the generated code and the host site’s policies in mind, and do not imply that the embedded widget is an official Toastmasters service.
Use the platform’s dedicated custom HTML, embed, or code block and ask an administrator to allow content from speechtimer.xyz if the platform has a domain allowlist. Do not paste untrusted markup into a field that is not intended for HTML.
The embed is a timer convenience tool and does not need club rosters, speech notes, meeting links, or an account. Review your site’s own analytics and privacy settings separately before publishing any third-party widget.
