SpeechTimer ("we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our website at speechtimer.xyz ("the Service").

Client-Side Processing

SpeechTimer tools run in your web browser. Timer settings, notes, copied scripts, and other inputs are processed locally on your device. Your speech content and meeting notes are not uploaded to our servers.

Data We Collect

We collect minimal data through:

• Site analytics: We use Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights to understand page use, product actions, errors, and real-user performance. Google Analytics may also be enabled as a secondary measurement service. We do not send speech text, notes, names, email addresses, or other free-form tool inputs with analytics events.
• Local Storage: Some tools save preferences, draft data, and recently visited SpeechTimer pages in your browser's local storage. This data stays on your device, can be cleared in your browser, and is not uploaded to us as tool content.
• Offline cache: If supported, a service worker stores public timer pages and app assets on your device so core timers can continue to work offline. You can remove this cache through your browser's site-data settings.

Cookies

SpeechTimer does not use advertising cookies. Vercel Web Analytics is designed for privacy-conscious, aggregate measurement. If optional Google Analytics is enabled, it may use standard analytics storage according to your browser and regional configuration.

Third-Party Services

Vercel hosts the Service and provides Web Analytics and Speed Insights. Google Analytics may be used as an optional secondary analytics provider. We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information, and we do not use advertising networks.

Data Security

Since all tool processing happens in your browser, your data security is inherently strong. We serve our site over HTTPS to ensure secure connections.

Children's Privacy

Our Service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
