About the Online Voice Recorder
Our free online voice recorder uses the MediaRecorder API to capture audio directly from your microphone in the browser. No software installation, no plugins, and no sign-up required -- just click record and start speaking.
The real-time waveform visualization shows your audio levels as you record, helping you maintain consistent volume. You can pause and resume your recording at any time, and the timer keeps track of the total duration.
After recording, play back your audio to review it before downloading. Files are saved in WebM format by default, with WAV export available for maximum compatibility. All processing happens locally in your browser -- your audio is never uploaded to any server.
