Use this page when the speaker is on a call and you are sharing a laptop tab. Choose a preset or custom checkpoints, start the timer, then share this browser window in Zoom, Meet, or Teams so the speaker sees the same green, yellow, and red you see. For a phone or second screen in the same room, use the speech timer on the homepage.

Green marks the minimum time, yellow warns the speaker to conclude and red marks the maximum. The built-in presets add an overtime signal 30 seconds after red. You can turn the clock or sound off when only the full-screen color cue is needed.

    Use Space to pause, M to mute alerts and Reset before the next speaker.

If you want participants to hear the optional beeps, remember to include tab or system audio when you share. The visual green, yellow and red signals do not require shared audio.

Can I use this online speech timer on Zoom, Google Meet or Teams?

Yes. Open the timer in a browser window, select fullscreen if needed and share that window in your meeting. The large color changes let the speaker and audience follow the same signals.

Do I need to install a speech timer app?

No. The timer works directly in a modern browser without an account or download.

Does the speaking timer work on a phone or tablet?

Yes. You can use it in a modern mobile browser. Keep the timer visible while it is running and use fullscreen mode when your browser supports it.

Can I share my custom speech timer settings?

Yes. After choosing a preset or entering custom thresholds, select Share Timer. The generated link includes that setup so another person can open it in a browser.

Will the audience hear the timer alerts during screen sharing?

The visual signals appear in the shared window. To share the optional alert sounds too, enable tab or system-audio sharing in your meeting app; otherwise the colors still work without audio.
